About
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (HSEQ), I support organizations operating in complex business sectors, including engineering & construction, oil & gas, industrial maintenance, civil explosives, and infrastructure services.
My professional journey began at DuPont Safety Resources, where I developed a strong foundation in operational risk management, safety leadership and cultural change. As an Environmental Engineer with certified Health and Safety Master credentials in both Portugal and Spain and a vast experience in quality management, I have led global internal audit programs and conducted HSEQ audits worldwide, working across multicultural and multi-jurisdictional environments.
Over the past several years, my focus has progressively expanded toward sustainability integration and long-term value creation. I have concentrated on embedding environmental and social considerations into core management systems, aligning operational controls with emerging ESG expectations, and supporting organizations in transitioning from compliance-driven models to performance-based sustainability frameworks.
